Once in a while I get a book to repair which has “come apart at the seams.” This Bible has been passed through the family since 1922. To keep that tradition going it needed some TLC. My client wanted to keep as much of the original cover as possible.
After repairing some of the pages that were torn and had fallen out of the binding, I made a new spine for the cover, and then trimmed the old spine and glued it on.
